winter/lungs

I. it's a bit late, but i'll still try
before they're locking up the sky
tonight the world belongs to us
do you remember how that was

i worry that you've gone too far
i've walked these streets towards your star
then chills come rushing down my spine
it seems to matter if you're mine

but it's too late, i see the dawning
early sunlight, the peace is fawning
in times when i must fight despair
do you breathe the same old air

II. Und damit wären wir up to Date, was die Gedichte betrifft, yay! (Zumindest ansatzweise.

Darüber hinaus: WTF is my life.

i paint you hollow

the skies are the woods and the woods are -
poison, like your words
i hear them, if you're near or far
and my love, it always hurts

the woods are the sky and the sky is -
empty, like your heart
you need my gaze so you don't miss
the cue to play your part

cause i'm the pen and i'm the brush
and i dictate the seasons
transforming pain, i need to hush
all of your hollow reasons

if i survived your golden cage,
i surely am immune
to heartbreak, simply turn the page
good riddance, not too soon

of scarecrows and sycophants

when tomorrow walks in today
and the world's dressed in decay
when the past opens its maw
and the scarecrows shed their straw
when the child's lost on the lake
not much longer i can take

guide me into your paradise -
alas, i'm trapped beneath thick ice
and darling, i can't reach the key
to release the sun in me
i'm only dreaming of your face
'til hollowness will take my place

i just hope you're safe and sound
even when i'm not around
and i can no longer provide
forbidden thoughts to reach inside
but if you need to suck me dry
love, i gladly will comply

turn me into a sycophant
so i die happy in - the end

Jetzt

breathe me

breathe me away
my dear, i'll ask for nothing more
'til only a breeze is left to adore
my body unholy, only essence to stay

breathe me away, breathe me away
let's find our home beyond the sky
want to forget the if and why
we're meant to embrace the decay

and together we will seethe
tangled, twisted, cosmic flood
please, i need this in my blood
breathe me away, breathe me away, breathe -

meadows for the wanting

something hell-forged, something godly
something like your summerdress
one look at you and i'm a mess
with thoughts inside my head so oddly

like acid and like alkaline
at the same time, never grey
your every wish i would obey
my molecules no longer mine

mine is only hunger, dear
want to consume the flowers
i am starving, hunting hours
innermost, not voiced, the fear

'cause in my mind it gets confusing
when i see you - dressed in june
afraid sunshine will be over soon
and autumn can not change a thing
